EDINA, MN — Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Alex Plechash released the following statement:
“The Republican Party of Minnesota has full confidence in the endorsement results from Friday’s convention proceedings, including U.S. Senate, Attorney General, Secretary of State, and State Auditor.
“These endorsements were conducted through the proper convention process, by duly credentialed delegates, and we trust the results both procedurally and technically.
“While yesterday’s statement addressed the unique circumstances surrounding the gubernatorial endorsement process, there should be no confusion about Friday’s results. Those endorsements stand, and the party stands firmly behind each of our endorsed candidates.
“Our delegates did important work. They selected a strong statewide ticket ready to hold Democrats accountable, restore trust in government, and win in November.
“The Minnesota Republican Party is united behind our endorsed candidates, and they will have the full support and resources of the state party as we move forward.”
