Find Your Local Republicans

Getting involved in your local community with fellow Republicans is important.

Your local republicans meet in organizations called BPOUs, Basic Party Operating Unit. That is a long winded phrase which simply means – it is a group of Republicans who meet in your hometown.

Some local areas are county based and others are based on Minnesota House and Senate District geographies.

These local groups help organize at the local level, participate in parades, get to know the candidates for office, attend fun socials and do many great things in communities across the State.

How can you get involved – it is simple – just follow these simple steps.

Step 1: Find our your House District and Senate District number & your MN State Rep. and Senator

The first step to find your BPOU – the group where Republicans meet – is to look up who represents you at the Minnesota Legislature and know your House and Senate District number.

Since you took the time to find your Minnesota House District and Senate District number….

Take a moment and introduce yourself to your Minnesota State House and Senate members.

Your Minnesota State Representative and Senator always need volunteers for campaigns, parades and are a great resource on how to get involved and make a difference in your own communities.

Step 2: Reach out to your local BPOU and introduce yourself

The second step is to reach out to your local republican BPOU.

Introduce yourself, visit their website and/or visit their next meeting. It is easy to get started and your involvement is critical to helping elect Republicans up and down the ballot.
