Election Judge and Poll Challenger
Elections require people – hundreds of us to work at early voting centers, pop-up centers, on ballot boards, and at the polls. Election judges are temporary, paid employees of local election officials who are trained to handle all aspects of voting at the polling place.
You still may be able to serve as an election judge in your area or, if you’re willing to travel, at another election location that is available. Apply to be an Election Judge with your city or county election office; or find a location using the Secretary of State’s link –

Remember to also take the training provided by the election office to which you are applying. Election judges must complete a two-hour training per state statute.
