Become a Republican Election Judge

This takes peoples resources, volunteers to be trained, and to serve. Election judges are temporary, paid employees of local election officials who are trained to handle all aspects of voting at the polling place. Election judges represent one of the major political parties in the state.

There are TWO things you must do: Sign up via the form below AND sign up through your city or county election office.

Apply to be an Election Judge with your city or county election office; or find a location using the Secretary of State’s link –

Remember to also take the training provided by the election office to which you are applying. Election judges must complete a two-hour training per state statute. If you are willing to travel, you can select your location of choice.

You must have your name on the Republican Party list by April 25 for the Party to submit to the Secretary of State by May 1st.

Can’t be an Election Judge? Consider being a Poll Challenger. Sign up with your local Republican group.
