“Congratulations to Nate George on earning the Republican endorsement for Minnesota State Auditor.
“This is one of the most important statewide races in Minnesota in 2026, and Republicans have the right candidate at the right time.
“Nate George brings the background, judgment, and real-world experience Minnesota needs in the State Auditor’s office. As Director of Licensing and Investigations for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Tribal Gaming Regulatory Authority, Nate has led investigators, overseen complex licensing work, managed compliance responsibilities, and worked in an environment where integrity, documentation, and accountability matter every single day.
“That is exactly the kind of experience Minnesota needs now.
“The State Auditor’s office is not supposed to be a political playground, a stepping stone, or a platform for liberal activism. It is supposed to be a watchdog for taxpayers. It is supposed to follow the money, open the books, expose waste, and protect the public from fraud and mismanagement.
“That is the contrast in this race.
“Nate George is an investigator, a reformer, and a taxpayer watchdog who is running to restore trust in government.
“Dan Wolgamott is a liberal politician from the Walz-DFL era who wants voters to trust him to oversee the same government Democrats failed to police.
“Wolgamott is not running as an independent watchdog. He is running as a progressive champion who sees the Auditor’s office as another platform for liberal politics. At a time when Minnesotans are demanding transparency, accountability, and fiscal discipline, Democrats are offering another partisan politician who helped build the very DFL agenda Minnesotans are rejecting.
“Minnesota does not need another DFL rubber stamp in statewide office. We need an Auditor who understands investigations, compliance, oversight, and accountability. We need someone who will ask hard questions, demand clear answers, and put taxpayers first.
“After years of fraud, waste, mismanagement, and one-party Democrat control, Minnesotans are demanding accountability. They want to know where their money went, why fraud was allowed to explode, and why the people in charge were asleep at the wheel while taxpayers paid the price.
“This open Auditor’s race gives Minnesotans a clear choice: elect a serious watchdog who will restore trust, or elect another liberal politician who will protect the status quo.
