Republican Party of Minnesota Congratulates Kendall Qualls on Earning GOP Endorsement for Governor
DULUTH, MN — Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Alex Plechash released the following statement today congratulating Kendall Qualls on earning the Republican endorsement for Governor of Minnesota:
“Kendall Qualls is exactly the kind of candidate Minnesota needs at this moment.
“He is a veteran, a self-made business leader, a husband, a father, and a nonprofit leader who has spent his life proving that hard work, faith, family, and personal responsibility still matter. Kendall has built things. He has led people. He has signed the front of a paycheck. He knows what it means to solve problems in the real world.
“That is a sharp contrast with Amy Klobuchar.
“Klobuchar has spent decades in elected office, but when Minnesota needed accountability, she was nowhere to be found. She watched the Walz administration turn our state into a national embarrassment — fraud, waste, chaos, rising costs, and failing government — and now she wants voters to believe she is the one who will clean it up.
“Minnesotans are not buying it.
“Amy Klobuchar is not a new direction. She is Tim Walz’s third term with a different name on the bumper sticker. She represents the same DFL political machine that ignored warnings, protected insiders, and allowed taxpayer dollars to be stolen while working families paid the price.
“Kendall Qualls offers Minnesota a different path: accountability instead of excuses, leadership instead of politics, and common sense instead of more DFL failure.
“This race will be a clear choice. Kendall Qualls is a proven leader who believes Minnesota can be safer, stronger, more affordable, and more accountable. Amy Klobuchar is a career politician trying to run away from the record of the party she helped build.

Minnesota voters are ready for change. Recent polling shows voters believe Minnesota is on the wrong track, see fraud and corruption as a defining issue, and trust Republicans more than Governor Walz to fight fraud in state government.
