Statement from Chairman Alex Plechash: Another day, another DFL ethics scandal

  • Post category:Statement

Another day, another DFL ethics scandal.

Kelly Morrison failed to disclose millions in stock trades—up to nearly $3 MILLION. That’s not a mistake. That’s a violation of basic transparency laws.

And it comes just DAYS after the Democrats’ fundraising machine—used by Amy Klobuchar—was exposed for serious transparency failures and questions about tracking illegal foreign money.

This isn’t coincidence. It’s a pattern.

 Morrison hides million-dollar trades

Ellison takes money tied to fraudsters

Klobuchar benefits from a broken, unaccountable fundraising system

And what do Minnesotans get?

Silence.

While families are getting crushed by:

Higher gas taxes

Increased tab fees

New delivery taxes

Rising cost of living

DFL politicians are trading millions and pretending the rules don’t apply to them.

If you’ve got millions sitting around to trade, maybe you don’t care what it costs to fill up your tank or feed your family.

But Minnesotans do.

This is exactly why the DFL is so out of touch—and why they keep pushing policies that make life more expensive.

We need answers.

We need accountability.

And Minnesotans deserve better.
