Minnesota GOP Congratulates Adam Schwarze on Earning Republican Endorsement for U.S. Senate
DULUTH, MN — Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Alex Plechash released the following statement today congratulating Adam Schwarze on earning the Minnesota GOP endorsement for United States Senate:
“Congratulations to Adam Schwarze on earning the endorsement of Minnesota Republicans to be our next United States Senator.
“Adam Schwarze is exactly the kind of leader Minnesota needs in Washington. He is a lifelong Minnesotan, a decorated combat veteran, a former Marine infantryman, a Navy SEAL officer, and a servant leader who has spent his life putting country before self.
“Adam answered the call to serve after the attacks of September 11, swearing into the Marines on his 18th birthday. He deployed with the 1st Marine Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom, served at American embassies around the world, led humanitarian missions, became a Naval Special Warfare Officer, and served with SEAL Team Three.
“Over a 21-year career, Adam completed nine deployments, served around the world, and traveled to more than 70 countries in service to our nation. That is a record of courage, discipline, sacrifice, and leadership.
“And it stands in sharp contrast to both Angie Craig and Peggy Flanagan.
“Angie Craig is a career politician who wants Minnesotans to believe she is independent while voting with the same Washington Democrats who gave us inflation, open borders, reckless spending, and a weaker America. She talks like a moderate at home and votes like a loyal Democrat in Washington.
“Peggy Flanagan is the far-left lieutenant governor of an administration defined by fraud, scandal, mismanagement, rising costs, failing schools, and a collapse of public trust. She is not a new direction. She is the Walz record with a new campaign logo.
“Whether Democrats nominate Angie Craig or Peggy Flanagan, Minnesotans will be offered the same failed agenda: higher costs, weaker borders, more government, less accountability, and more excuses.
“Adam Schwarze offers something different.
“He has actually led under pressure. He has served in dangerous places. He has worked with America’s military, diplomatic, intelligence, and humanitarian missions around the world. He understands duty, accountability, and mission — values Washington badly needs and Minnesota voters are hungry for.
“The polling is clear. Minnesotans know our state is on the wrong track. In one recent statewide survey, 50% of voters said Minnesota is headed in the wrong direction, 57% disapproved of Tim Walz’s job performance, 27% named fraud and corruption as the greatest problem facing the state, and voters trusted Republicans over Walz to fight fraud by a 48% to 38% margin.
“That is the environment Democrats must defend.
