Presidential Inauguration – January 20, 2017


We are hours away from the historic inauguration of Donald Trump and Mike Pence as the President and Vice President of the United States!

Excitement is growing and the optimism is contagious! The Trump Administration has a bold agenda for the first 100 days and we are thrilled to see Republicans lead!

And it all begins Friday, January 20th!

Here’s what you need to know about the Inauguration:

Swearing-in Ceremony 

Opening remarks will begin at 10:30 am (11:30 am Eastern Standard Time)

Official swearing-in ceremony will begin at 11:00 am (12:00 pm EST)

  • Vice President-elect, Mike Pence will be sworn in first. The oath will be administered by Clarence Thomas Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States on President Ronald Reagan’s Bible.
  • President-elect, Donald Trump will be sworn in second. The oath will be administered by John Roberts Chief Justice of the United States on Abraham Lincoln’s Bible.

Following the swearing-in, President Donald Trump will make his inaugural remarks.

The Inaugural Parade

President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will lead a parade of more than 8,000 from the Capital to the White House. The Parade will take place at 2:00 pm (3:00 pm EST)

The Inaugural Balls 

The evening festivities will begin at 6:00 pm (7:00 pm EST). There will be four official Inaugural Balls. The President and First Lady will take their first dance at each of the Inaugural balls.

How To Watch:

Coverage of Inauguration festivities will be carried live by ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, Fox News and their local affiliates.
