Are you ready for Election Day?

The 2016 Election is just around the corner! And here’s what you need to know:

To vote in Minnesota you must be…

  • A citizen of the United States
  • 18 years old by Election Day, November 8th
  • A resident of Minnesota for at least 20 days
  • Finished with all parts of any felony sentence

Here are some important dates for the upcoming Election:

September 23rd – Absentee Ballots Available, Early In Person Voting Begins

Will you be out of town Election Day? Are you going to college? Make sure your vote is counted, request your absentee ballot, today! >>>

If you want to vote early in person you can do so at your local election office, starting Friday, September 23rd. Find your early voting location! >>>

October 18th – Pre-Registration Ends

Pre-registration to vote has closed. If you need to register to vote you can do so Election Day.

November 7th – Last Day To Vote Early In Person

Monday, November 7th is the last day that you can vote early in person at your local election office. Local Election offices will be open until 5:00 PM. Find your local election office! >>>

November 8th – Election Day!

The polls will be open 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 8th. Find your polling location! >>>
